Come spend 6 days and 5 nights immersing yourself in "Nature"... through the practice of Yoga. Explore your inner nature, while surrounded by Mother nature, in paradise! The intent of simplicity will seem luxurious within the context of the program. The days will be full of learning and practicing yoga techniques in a setting that will encourage focus and limit distraction, to provide a fertile ground, safe and comfortable for Self inquiry. Amidst the fullness of the program, there is time for play and/or solitude in the mountains, under a waterfall, or at the beach.
We are blessed to have some very special guest teachers. Bhavani Maki will be sharing her gifted expression of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali with us, and we have Peter and Suzy sharing the Science of Ayurveda and Asana and Ayurveda with us. They will also be available for Ayurvedic Massage and Ayurvedic consultations during the break times. The evening program this year will be full of devotional expression in the form of Kirtan, and we will offer optional solo or group excursions throughout the week, as well (hiking, snorkeling, Hindu Temple, surfing, SUP, etc.).
About the location:

Camp Naue is a very special place located on the North Shore at Ha'ena, less than two miles from the start of the Na Pali Coast. It's a short walk to some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii, Tunnels Beach, and to some of the best hiking, the Kalalau Trail. It has beach front bunkhouses nestled under rugged mountains with cascading waterfalls. The land for Camp Naue was donated by the McBryde Sugar Company and has been used since 1926 as community refuge and place of educational enrichment. Today, Camp Naue is the only privately owned beach front area that can be used by the community.
There is a choice to stay in one of the bunkhouses, dorm-style, or camping is available.
Participants must provide sleeping and camping amenities.
Please specify choice of accommodation when registering.
Meals:
We have an amazing chef who will be on site, providing us with 3 freshly prepared vegetarian meals each day. Kirsten (our chef) has a gift in creating exotic fresh dishes with a Hawaiian style twist, using local, sustainable, freshly picked, simple, whole foods. There will be tea available throughout the day, as well.
